Earth's Core Spins Faster Than Surface, Study Confirms

The Earth's solid iron inner core is about the size of the moon, and now it
has been proven to rotate faster than the rest of the planet. The inner
core is surrounded by a liquid iron outer core that is about 2.8 times wider
than the moon.
That's a LOT of iron, folks......
