It's going to take me a while, to figure out how you can sample only 3 to 4 percent, of an image, RANDOMLY, and interpolate a full image from THAT. Seems like it would have to be LOSSY, due to the compression.

The rest of it, is extremely clever, and holds great potential.

Incredible to think that the per-pixel resolution on these images, is close to 12 inches!
You could probably see a 6 ft tall person, sprawled-out on the ground, if their outfit contrasted with the ground, but their resolution would be something like only three pixels.
