Synchroton-radiation x-ray tomographic microscopy or SRXTM, looks to be an extremely exciting new method for imaging tiny fossils in 3D.
It has the capabilities of a medical CT scan, with about 3000 times the resolution! Details of less than one micron are illuminated. That's one millionth of a meter, or a thousandth of a millimeter, folks.... :)
