Yahoo Updates Messenger's Phone Features
PCWorld.com - Yahoo Updates Messenger's Phone Features
One cent a minute to anywhere in the U.S. sounds pretty good. [Phone Out] It appears they are trying to give Skype and eBay a run for their money. You have to prepay in multiples of $10 OR $25, but the minutes last forever.
Their flipside service called "Phone In" costs $29.99 a year, but would be an awesome service, if you had say, a child in college hundreds of miles away, or a friend or business communications need, at a similar distance ... then you can subscribe to Yahoo "Phone In" and have a local phone number in that location. Then the people calling you from that location, can simply make a local call to reach you.
