Star's odd double explosion hints at antimatter trigger
Star's odd double explosion hints at antimatter trigger - space - 06 April 2007 - New Scientist Space
I think it would be amazing to see an animation of what goes on, with these electron-positron pairs, at the unbelievable pressures and temperatures, inside the core of one of these massive stars. Do they aggregate? .. Do they spontaneously convert between energy and matter/antimatter pairs? .. Do they move to the surface of the star? ... And what kind of repulsion occurs between oridinary electrons themselves, and how does the bonded antiparticle affect this ... Plus ... How about the same kind of repulsion between positrons? ... So many questions ......
