I still feel the human variation on this might lead to extremes, where some fighters could bear this pain, and others might have their skin severely damaged, due to some unforseen problems.

Very interesting. Did you notice that the demonstration was at Moody AFB in Georgia?
Yes I did ... :) .. Also saw more today on CNN ... they showed some Army volunteers, pretending to be rioters, throwing rocks (tennis balls) ... also 3 individuals from the Army ... and then, some volunteers from the press corp ... for the most part they acted shocked by the blast, and laughed, exclaimed, and hurriedly ran/jumped away .. close observation appeared to show their faces suddenly turn reddish ... the millimeter waves penetrate clothes quite easily .. and supposedly only penetrate skin by 1/64 of an inch, while making the blast feel like 130 degrees ... I have worked in 130 degree heat, for extended periods of time, and it makes me wonder if some people could bear this discomfort .... especially people that live in parts of the world where the heat gets to 120 or more degrees ...
