An amazing invention ... Wonder how many layers of these things can be packed, one on top of the other? ... Also, in the tennis shoe application ... I suppose the nanowires must have a "cover plate" to prevent them from being crushed ... then again .. they may press back against any any contacting surface and "support" the weight...
