Rats! A possible supernova and it's in the southern hemisphere. That would be a great opportunity to be able to watch one though.
Yeah... but our time is coming .. ;-)
I just think it is great that they can *possibly* observe and record such a rare thing, from before it manifests itself fully, forward for many years to come.
