Researchers Find Evidence of Photosynthesis Deep within the Ocean

RedNova News - Science - Researchers Find Evidence of Photosynthesis Deep within the Ocean

Living 1.49 miles down in the ocean, and relying on light from the original "lava lamps" ... ok ..ok .. these are hydrothermal vents .. but still the photons are basically generated from "down below" .. i.e. the INTERIOR of the Earth.
These photosynthetic bacteria live in a razor thin interface of water, that lies between water on one side that is 662 degrees fahrenheit, and 35.6 degrees fahrenheit, on the other.
